Skoda India has announced that the Kushaq compact SUV has racked up nearly 6,000 bookings since its launch on June 28, 2021. The SUV currently commands a waiting period of up to two months and helped Skoda post an impressive 234 percent growth when compared to July 2020. The company sold 3,080 cars when compared to 922 cars in July last year.
The Czech carmaker is currently handing over the 1.0-litre variants to customers, with deliveries of the more powerful 1.5-litre variants to begin by mid-August. In case you’re interested in purchasing Skoda’s compact SUV, here’s a quick look at the detailed variant-wise prices:

With the launch of the new Kushaq, the Czech car maker has got a much required boost in the country. By the end of August, Skoda will have 100 dealerships across India and is aiming to have 225 by the end of 2022. The Kushaq comes loaded with features like a 10.1-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car tech, ventilated front seats, a single-pane sunroof, ambient lighting, automatic climate control, cruise control, and analogue dials with a multi-info display.
Passenger safety is taken care of by up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors with rear-view camera, electronic stability control (offered as standard), and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
